(THE TRIP, part 1)
damn sad to be back!! IT WAS OVER THE TOP.
we're awesome poser backpackkers, aiming to become a real one pretty soon. the train rides were smooooth like hell, sleeping in the bunks is so COOL, getting lost in some train station in thailand at 3am in the morning is cooler.
Day 1
9.21am- 3.40pm, johor bahru to kuala lumpur
crazy train that is, we had those "best-seats", first row with unlimited leg space but the damn door was stuck so it felt as if we were seating on the edge of the train feeling the tracks beneath us. LOUD,CLEAR and BUMPY but i manage to slept thru the journey.
arrived at KL and we chomp down their malaysia kind of KFC, i swear by their kfc is way way better than spore.
Day 1 and 2
8.45pm to 5.55am, Kuala Lumpur to Butterworth(penang)
omgg i love love the sleeper train, the bunks are so cute.. white sheets, blue curtain and a night light. we arrived in penang a little later than the actual time, well..the trains are never punctual.

15mins ferry ride to penang town and walking over 2hours with our taller-than-me-bag to look for a room to put our luggage down(7 hours to spare before our next train slot) and to shower and we ended up with a damn seedy 70s looking motel for a only 25RM?? and we yam-cha our hearts contend..the dim sum was cheapy fuck delicious..

Day 2
2.20pm to day 3 12.14am, butterworth to surat thani(THAILAND!!)
we crossed the border with the choo choo train!! it felt damn good, DAMN DAMN GOOD. the train's pretty cool, during the day it was all seats and after dinner the beds were down. We knocked out till we missed our stop and we end up in this station called chumplon? or something..
we were supposed to be at surat thani abt 1.30am or so but we assume someone or at least an announcement to be made if we're at our stop but none so kit asked this guy and he said we were way past our stop. We had to buy another ticket back to surat thani and we arrived like 8am there.

we got real high because that marks the end of our train rides.. we took a dirty bastardy coach from S.thani to PHUKET.. 4 freaking hours plus a tuk tuk to Patong Beach, bless us for travelling so much. Shit happens to poor me but im not talking abt it and the trip went on.
